Our life is nothing short of an adventure...

Wind in our hair and screams of delight but also unpredictable turns and unknown outcomes. We are a family of six; Dave, Susie, Nate, Jake, Sam, and Bella.

God has been faithful in our marriage and through the birth and blessings of our boys.

God has been faithful during our adoption journey and united Bella with us in May of 2008. We were privileged to visit with Bella's birth mother; therefore, Bella's family in Guatemala will always be dear to our hearts.

On October 16, 2008, Bella was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. We are now battling the disease with 2 years and 3 months of treatment. We believe God will continue to be faithful!

Our family is committed to living life to the fullest...even on the hard days. Thank you for checking in and journeying with us!

Tres Amigas!

Ana, Anaya and Bella

Guess who took the longest to warm up? Sweet Bella, she is always so cautious and it takes her a while to warm up to anyone. Ana and Anays were all over the place, busy climbing and experimenting. Bella was perfectly content to sit on the floor in one place with a couple of toys.

Ah Mom, I am not so sure about these girl friends.

Ooh I love these cheeks! Ana, you are as precious as the first time I met you when you were only 3 months old at Hannah's Hope.

Anaya, you took the longest to get home...and you were so worth the wait. Your sweet smile and sparkling eye's warm up any room.

Friday morning we headed to our friends for a get together of the "Tres Amigos"! Bella and her friends, Ana and Anaya. These 3 little girls were all at Hannah's Hope together in Guatemala...all 3 families endured to wait of a Mixco BC, me being the luckiest of the 3 by waiting only 2 months, Jenifer and Ana's BC took 4 months and Stacey and Anaya's 6 months! We all picked up our girls in April. These woman and their daughters will always have a special place in my heart, we share a journey together that was spiritually altering. Ladies, it was so great to see this little girls together again and visit with the two of you. I thank God for placing you in my life to experience the journey together.
