Our life is nothing short of an adventure...

Wind in our hair and screams of delight but also unpredictable turns and unknown outcomes. We are a family of six; Dave, Susie, Nate, Jake, Sam, and Bella.

God has been faithful in our marriage and through the birth and blessings of our boys.

God has been faithful during our adoption journey and united Bella with us in May of 2008. We were privileged to visit with Bella's birth mother; therefore, Bella's family in Guatemala will always be dear to our hearts.

On October 16, 2008, Bella was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. We are now battling the disease with 2 years and 3 months of treatment. We believe God will continue to be faithful!

Our family is committed to living life to the fullest...even on the hard days. Thank you for checking in and journeying with us!

5K and In MIssouri!

The 5k I have been training for was this past Saturday and I did it! In fact, Dave and the boys started to train shortly after me and ran as well. We were all pleased with our time, I was just thrilled to have crossed the finish line with out walking the entire 3.2 miles. In finished in 32 minutes, which was good for me especially after not working out for a year and training for only 11 weeks. Were now talking another 5k the end of June and a 10k in the fall. I am not on board yet for a 25k.

Bella is doing great! So much so that Bella and I are in Missouri for a week visiting our best buds Cheri and Malaena-Sloan. It's been a year since we have seen each other, the girls are so cute together and Cheri and I stayed up till 2:15 am talking. Girl friends are a GOOD thing. Excited to be here just chill, no agenda, just girl time.

I will post pictures soon, I have some good one's.

Thanks for checking in, truly, Bella is handling her treatment great and her hair is starting to grow back in. I am so excited!
